Your style, built for your aircraft — custom interiors from the Norfolk Aviation Group's interior shop at Hangar 5. Serving owners since 2012.
You pick your aircraft, choose your Signature materials, and send us photos of your interior as it sits today.
“I will customize and verify designs we send back to customers.”
— Josh Harbants, your representative at Hangar 5.
Step 01 — Pick your aircraft
The whole fleet at or below the Vision Jet / Saratoga class — piston singles, piston twins, and the one single-engine jet at the top of the class. Nothing bigger, by choice. Search, or scroll the makers.
No match in the list — use “Another aircraft in this size class” at the end of the list and tell us what you fly. If it fits the class, it fits the shop.

Step 03 — Upload your interior
Photos of your interior as it sits today — seats, sidewalls, carpet, headliner, the worn spots and all. That is the cabin we design around: yours, as it sits.
No photos added yet — the four shots that help most: from the open door, the rear cabin, a seat close-up, and the flight deck.
Step 02 — Tell us your design
Core 8 Signature colors only — the same eight house leathers in the swatch books at Hangar 5. Make your picks surface by surface; the team designs from there.
Your aircraft and every pick, by Norfolk Signature house name — exactly what the team designs from.
This sheet is your design brief — the picks the team works from. Final color approval happens with physical swatches in your hands.
Create a free account and every design request you build in the Studio is saved under your name — your aircraft, your picks, your photos list, your status. Reopen one anytime, and message the Hangar 5 team right here, no phone tag.
Owners' Account
Save Studio design requests to your account, reopen them whenever you're back, follow their status, and keep one running thread with the team — your rep, your questions, your answers, all in one place.
Preview note — on this preview site, accounts, design requests and messages are stored only in this browser, on this device. On the live site your account runs on the shop's database, and your requests and messages land in the Team Portal, where the crew works them.
Saved in the Studio
Every request carries its aircraft, its full Core 8 spec and its status. Open one and the Studio restores it exactly as you left it — photos are listed by name; re-add the files anytime.

Every photo below is a Hangar 5 job, shot in our hangar and on our ramp. This is the standard your airplane gets, from the same Norfolk benches owners have trusted since 2012.
In Motion · The Completed CabinThe completed Vision Jet cabin, filmed in N821BD at Hangar 5 — black diamond-quilt seats, light suede inserts, embroidered headrests.
This G1 came to Hangar 5 for a complete interior transformation and left in a full black Signature treatment — every seat re-trimmed, the rear bulkhead quilted to match, panels and headliner carried through in Cloud Gray so the whole cabin reads as one design.
Cirrus is our home turf, and it has been for a long time: Norfolk Aircraft Interiors is the interior shop of the Norfolk Aviation Group, serving owners since 2012. The hands, the patterns and the Cirrus know-how behind this build are the same ones owners have trusted for over a decade.

Our vision is an interior shop owners can stand inside of: craftsmanship you can watch, a process you can follow, and work you sign off on together.
Our own cameras, our own hangar. Follow a cabin from the day it rolls in to the day its owner takes it home — start with the completed Vision Jet G1, the same transformation in the gallery above.
Eight house leathers, each with a house name. You choose a finished cabin, and we stand behind every hide in it. Cut, perforated and stitched under our roof.
Core 8 shown · Additional colors available on request
Seats, panels, carpet and trim, all under one roof. The work should look right on delivery day and still look right a thousand hours later.
Seats, sidewalls, headliner, carpet and trim out and rebuilt as one design — the complete transformation, planned around your flying schedule.
New foam sculpted to your frame, upholstered in Signature leather with diamond, straight or French-seam stitching and matched restraint webbing.
Panels recovered and refit so the whole cabin reads as one piece — no new seats sitting in a tired room.
Patterned, bound and fitted carpet sets cut for your exact floor plan, in house colors that tie the cabin together.
Bolster wear, cracked vinyl, tired foam, one rough seat in an otherwise good cabin — targeted work that brings it back without a full teardown.
Sit down in Hangar 5 with the physical swatch books. We'll build your palette against your paint scheme and panel, in real light.
Not every cabin needs a full refurb. Our house kit program covers the high-wear pieces with pre-patterned Norfolk kits — ordered, fitted and finished by the same hands that do our full refurbs, and quoted in writing for your aircraft before any work starts.
Design Around a KitWe don't do a little of everything — we do these airframes completely. Piston singles, piston twins, and the Vision Jet at the top of the range. Nothing bigger, by choice: it's how the work stays this good.
Single PistonOur home turf since 2012. The SR's sculpted seats take diamond quilting and perforated inserts well, and the two-tone treatment — dark bolsters, lighter centers — is the one most owners pick. G1 through G7, CAPS-era panels and all.
Single Jet · Top of Our RangeOn Film · The Flight DeckThe finished Garmin panel and side-stick, filmed in the same G1.
The biggest cabin we take on. Full cabin work — quilted bulkheads, matched webbing, panels and headliner carried through as one design. Our 2018 G1 job leads the gallery above.
Twin PistonThe Navajo's club cabin is the largest piston interior we rebuild — up to six seats, every panel accounted for. Deep leathers and a French seam bring the working twin back to the standard it had off the line in Lakeland.
Single & Twin PistonV-tails to G36s, Barons of every vintage. These airframes fly for decades — their cabins should look like it was on purpose. Heritage browns, straight seams, and carpet cut to the exact floor plan.
The first question every owner asks is what a refurb costs — and the honest answer is that scope writes the number, not a price list. Here is what actually drives a quote at Hangar 5, by aircraft class, so you can plan with your eyes open. Your figure itself is written by hand, after a look at your real cabin.
Cost Guide · The Drivers, by Class
Cirrus SR · Bonanza · Cessna & Piper singles
Piper Navajo & Seneca · Beechcraft Baron · Cessna twins
Cirrus SF50 · G1 & G2 — the top of our range
Your number follows a hands-on inspection of your cabin at Hangar 5, against physical swatches, with the scope written out line by line — and it’s written by the same hands that will cut and sew your cabin. No surprises after that number.
The airplanes we know panel by panel. If it burns avgas — or sips Jet-A through a single Williams — it belongs here. Nothing bigger. That's the point.
Slot 01 · In ProgressPerforated inserts, contrast bolsters and matched webbing — the SR cabin is our home turf, from early G1s to the latest G7.
Slot 02 · Top of Our RangeThe SF50 is the top of our range. Full cabin work — seats, panels, headliner, carpet — like the G1 job in the gallery above.
Slot 03 · Twin PistonThe Navajo's executive cabin is the largest piston interior we rebuild — six seats, club layout, every panel accounted for.
Slot 04 · BeechcraftV-tails to G36s, Barons of every vintage — classic airframes deserve cabins that match how they fly.
Slot 05 · Trainers & Travelers172s, 182s, Cardinals and the twin Cessnas — interiors built to hold up to daily flying and flight-school use.
Slot 06 · The Sewing RoomCutting, perforating, stitching, fitting — every step happens at our benches, led by Katrina Davis, our seamstress.
Send a design request from the Studio above — your aircraft, your Core 8 picks, photos of your interior — or sit with the swatch books in Hangar 5. Same starting line either way.
A designer on the team draws your design up around your aircraft and your photos.
You approve the design against physical leather, and only then does your interior come out — patterned piece by piece and rebuilt: foam, leather, stitch, webbing, carpet.
Everything goes back in and is inspected panel by panel — if a seam isn't straight, it doesn't leave. Then the delivery walk-around, with you in the left seat.
Every cabin that leaves Hangar 5 carries the same standard: materials we'd put in our own airplanes, seams we'd sign our names to.
The walk-around at delivery is our favorite meeting — here's the shape of what gets said at it.
“They re-foamed my seats before the new leather went on — you feel it on every long leg. The two-tone came out exactly like the swatches we picked at the hangar.”SR22 Owner · Virginia Beach
“All six club seats re-covered, and the carpet cut to my floor plan — not a generic set. They called before they cut anything, both times.”Navajo Owner · Hampton Roads
“The quilted rear bulkhead is the first thing passengers notice. Seats, panels and headliner were all done in one visit, and the logbook entry was signed and in the airplane when I picked it up.”Vision Jet Owner · North Carolina

Every project at Hangar 5 starts with a conversation — pick your representative, or let us match you. Our three representatives sell interiors and answer their own email, and Katrina, our seamstress, is the hands at the bench behind the stitch work.
Rep — 01
Josh spent 2.5 years selling aircraft interiors right here at Norfolk, working both as an interior technician and a sales representative — so he knows these cabins from the bench up. An Air Force veteran who worked F-22 avionics from 2015 to 2019 — 8.5 years in aviation in all. Beyond the hangar, Josh is the Founder & CEO of The Jet Floor, a private aviation marketplace.
Rep — 02
Darren is a director at Norfolk Aviation and a sales representative for interiors. With nearly two decades in marketing and sales, he has been around flying his whole life — he soloed as a teenager — and helps owners find the right scope and the right look for their airplane.
Rep — 03
Greg helps owners scope a refurbishment to their aircraft and their budget, then coordinates with the shop from first quote through delivery — so the cabin you approved is the cabin you fly home.
The Bench
Katrina is our wonderful seamstress — the hands at the bench behind the stitch work in every cabin that leaves Hangar 5. From diamond quilting and double French seams to straight, even stitch lines in Signature leather, she cuts, sews and finishes the details owners see and touch every time they fly.
Fly in to KORF or drive in — the coffee's on and the swatch books are out. Call ahead and we'll have your aircraft's patterns pulled before you land.
